Buying a new laptop

Hi, this arun..from hyderabad...i am planning to buy a new laptop. my price range is 45k -50k. i have decided on dell vostro 1710. Can someone suggest me some other brands?. my spcs are

core 2 duoT5670(1.8Ghz)
250GbHDD
nvidia 8600m gs
3gb ram

its mainly for entertainment. Playing games, watching muvis, etc.etc.
also i wanna know whether reducing RAM to 2gb and upgrading the processor to T5870 (2Ghz) will do anything better?...plz gimme some idea guys...

Since Vostro is more of a business laptop I would suggest you to check out the DELL Studio 17 and the HP dv7 series

The above two would be more suitable for your purpose.

Yeah studio 15 is good and comes well under by budget.......but can my play Crysis and assasins creed kinf of games in that........

I have no idea if the Studio 15 can play those games. Studio 15 is more of a multimedia laptop. For a gaming laptop you need a laptop with a dedicated grapics card with a high speed processor and plenty of RAM.
