IE 8 vs Firefox 3

Now that Firefox has released Firefox 3.0 Beta 4 I wonder how IE 8 is going to match up to it. WIll IE 8 loose out to the New Firefox 3??

I have been using Firefox 3 beta 3 and I am pleased with the speed of page rendering. IMO Firefox 3 seems faster than Firefox 2.

Have not tried IE 8 though.

Firefox 2 is a major memory hog!, so much At times it can use half a gigabyte of RAM. On slower machines this kind of overhead can cripple the browsing experience. This has been largely remedied in version 3.0, with a lower RAM consumption and excellent speed of performance.
