Toshiba breaks its 25 year alliance with HCL Infosys

Toshiba PC has broken a 25-year exclusive alliance with HCL Infosystems.

In view of the rapidly-growing and fast-changing market for laptops in India, Toshiba and HCL Infosystems have decided to “expand” the current distribution model for laptops in the country, as part of which Toshiba would now go for multiple distributors. HCL, in practice, was the only distributor of Toshiba notebook PCs in India, so far.
